Is slow cooked White Wine Veal Osso Bucco on your dinner menu this week?
We have all the key ingredients for a great winter warmer for the family
4-6 osso bucco pieces or shanks cut 2 inch thick, dusted in plain flour and salt and pepper
fresh sage, oregano and parsley
salt and pepper to taste...
1 cup chicken stock (fresh stock available in our freezer section)
1 cup white wine
1 glass of white wine for the cook
sliced onion (approx 2 medium)
4 cloves of garlic
Brown the meat in olive oli, then add all ingredients.
Place in slow cooker on low in morning, and VOILA! perfect meal awaits when you get home.
Serve with a fresh pasta, mash potato, or on a bed of polenta

it's cooling down over the next few days, perfect weather for a moist Grass Fed Aegean Lamb Roast - Greek Style.
Oven bake 1 hr / kg at 180'C.
Tips for keeping the leg moist through cooking - put 1L of chicken stock* into the roasting pan, place lamb leg inside, and cover with the juice of 1 lemon. Cover the pan with foil to keep the stock from evaporating, and uncover in the last stages of cooking to finish off the lamb.
